Almost the end of week 2

Well, here it is almost the end of week 2 and this week hasn't been quite as bad as I thought it might, I have actually gotten to see Alex a little bit this week which has been nice. I am really looking forward to tomorrow though because I know he'll spend time with us rather than studying. The kids are starting to realize how much dad isn't available though - yesterday Kiefer wanted Dad to play video games but of course Dad was getting ready to head out the door to go meet with his study group. Emali has become a clinging vine to me which I can't stand so I've found I've been snapping at her a lot which then I feel bad about. It doesn't help that it's in the 90s and humid so then she doesn't want to play outside and neither do any of the other kids and she really doesn't like being outside by herself.
This week I got the house all cleaned because it was starting to get away from me so now I can keep on top of it better, a cluttered house didn't used to bother me but now I can't stand it I think it's partly because we have so much less room here and the other part is because you never know which neighbor is going to drop by. Which is kind of neat because we have a lot of really nice neighbors.
I was going to get my scrapbook stuff out today and work on some of that but I gave up - there are just too many boxes to go through to find the things I need so I guess I'll pick that hobby up again in 4 years when we move and I can go through it all. So now I don't know what I'm going to do today - it's too hot to do anything outside and there's nothing to do inside......it's going to be a long day!
