Another Week Down!

Stress hmm that seems to be something that is definitely taking over my life these days. My patients with the kids gets shorter and shorter everyday. I will be so glad when Alex is done with Greek!!!
I find myself constantly watching the clock today waiting for 12:30 when he'll get out of class - I know that I actually get to spend some time with him this afternoon so I'm really excited. I really look forward to Friday afternoons and Saturdays because I get to see him - this weekend is extra exciting too because my parents are coming down to visit. This will be the first time that my Dad has seen where we are living. My mom will get out of work around 6 and then they are going to start on the 4.5 hour trek down. Emali has the whole weekend planned out for us. Tomorrow she wants to go shopping at our favorite place to shop, it's called Easton http://www.eastontowncenter.com/ they have a lot of neat stores to walk around and we like it because it's an outdoor mall so you still get to spend time outside. Then on Sunday Emali wants us (minus Alex as he'll be studying) to go to the Columbus Zoo.
The kids are getting excited for school to start Kiefer asks almost everyday when school will start and is always disappointed by the answer. I think Emali is just bored these days so she's ready for school to start so she can meet some new friends. School here starts August 26th which will be different after living in Michigan where it's against the law to start before Labor Day. We went to Walgreen's the other day because Alex had to have something filled out from his old work and we picked up some school supplies, Kiefer was very excited about that and he made the comment to me the other day that he wanted Grandma to buy him new shoes for school. It's funny how kids react completely the opposite of how you think they will - I figured he would want nothing to do with school - I just hope the excitement stays after he starts.
We're starting to see a lot of change around here too - the family housing is probably over half empty right now - as students are leaving to go to their first call or off to their internship sites. We figure the middle of next month it will be crazy around here as those returning from their internships will be moving back in and there will probably be some new students too - Alex has a very small class (one of the smallest in several years) but they're not all taking Greek with him some of them will take it in the fall.
Well I guess I should start thinking about lunch and Alex should get out of class in a half an hour so I will post again soon. TTFN!

I am glad to hear that Kiefer is excited about school. I can't believe Kiefer will be starting Kindergarten. I know he will do very well.
I can't believe Emali will start second grade.
Time is flying by so fast with these kids.
I hope you have a great time with your parents.
