It's Official

Well it's official or at least it feels more official, I went today and got my id for Capital. I also looked at the prices of my books and was pleasantly surprised by the fact that I will be able to purchase all my books for under $300 this semester (4 classes). I start classes on Monday and I am excited (with some nervousness & apprehension) I am looking forward to going back to school, I'm hoping that after this first semester I'll be able to pinpoint my major - right now it's between finishing my psychology degree with a minor in religion or majoring in religion.

The kids started school this week and they both seem to be really enjoying it - I'm not real sure about Emali's teacher from what she has told us we were told he likes to be a friend rather than a rule enforcer and so far it seems that is really true. Kiefer seems to really enjoy his class too he hasn't eaten his lunch but tomorrow he gets to buy his lunch so he's really excited - hopefully excited enough that he'll eat it.

Alex and I have had a great 2 days together and tomorrow is our last day together during the day with no kids. We are hoping to go hiking by the Hoover Damn. Then next week we'll have time together when I'm not in class and hopefully we'll be able to go grocery shopping towards the end of the week. Next Saturday a good friend of ours is getting married and we get to go to her wedding which is up neat Toledo and we figured seems how we're already half way to our parents house we might as well go and visit them - or at least my parents as Alex's parents leave Sunday morning for Europe.

That is all for now. I can say I survived the summer of CPE but wish to never have another summer like it!
